| GRACE AMONG THIEVES Third in the Manor House Mystery series Coming June 5, 2012 |
I have to admit, though, I am *loving* my new writing schedule.
As I'm sure you've heard by now, I signed contracts for three more Grace books as well as for three more WHChef. Woo-hoo!! The best part of that news is that I've been able to get my deadlines a bit more spread out. Instead of having books due three months apart and then having nine months of the year where no books are due, I now have them spaced six months apart.
WHEW!!!
I won't have a traditional launch party for Grace Among Thieves because the Chicago Tribune's Printers Row Literary Festival is that exact same weekend in Chicago. I'll be there, at the Mystery Writers of America tent, as well as on a panel (probably at the library, but I'm not positive yet).
As I mentioned in my most recent newsletter, this new book Grace Among Thieves, my be my favorite book of those I've written. I hope you like it, too! (If you didn't receive a newsletter, email me: JulieHyzy (at) gmail (dot) com and let me know.
I'll have more news later... LOTS more. Yep, I'm holding back for the moment. Stay tuned for updates.

I'm excited that there will be at least 3 more WH mysteries. I love that there are now children in the White House (I'm just finishing Wild West Wing- I didn't read the books in order). I look forward to diving into the Manor House Mystery series.
Happy Mother's Day, Julie!

So happy to hear this, Joni! Thanks!
I hope you enjoy experiencing Marshfield Manor alongside Grace. I have a lot of fun writing for her!
I'm just curious... what happened to Virgil, the First Family's chef, in Buffalo Wild Wings? Did I miss something? It's difficult to go back on a Kindle to search.
Thanks,

YIKES... I got the name of your book wrong twice! Sorry.

Your comment made me laugh! I knew which book you were talking about, no worries. Virgil stays. He's back for more fun (?) in Affairs of Steak. Thanks for asking!
So happy about the upcoming books from BOTH of your series! Woo Hoo!!!
Thanks, Jennifer! I'm excited to be able to keep both series alive!
Julie, I'm so excited to hear about three more WH mysteries. I'm finishing Affairs of Steak and can't wait for the next story. Ollie is the best! I love how she takes charge and stands up for herself yet she has empathy for others. I read the first Grace book and after I finish Affairs of Steak I'll start on Grace #2. I live in Chicago and found my first Julie Hyzy book at The Book Cellar, which is near my home in Lincoln Square. Perhaps I'll see you at the Printer's Row Festival! --Catherine Mary
Hi, Catherine! I'm so happy to hear that you're enjoying the books. Isn't The Book Cellar great? Love that store! I hope to see you at Printers Row! Should be great - rain or shine! (My money is on rain.)
Julie, as always, you remain steadfast in your goals. Something I've always admired about you, among many other things. Congrats! You deserve all your successes.
Thank you so much! That's so nice of you to say!
